It has been 19 weeks since my husband's motorcycle accident. We were extremely lucky to be a half mile over the state line in Pennsylvania; because he was transported to York Hospital. York Hospital has fully implemented the Adam Williams protocols. There isn't a hospital in Maryland that currently uses the protocols.

He had 3 left temporofrontal intraparenchymal and subarachniod hemorages with a 7MM bleed; right maxillary sinus and alveolar ridge fractures; a compound fracture of his right pinkie and shattered his left wrist in 20 places. I knew the bones would all heal in time. It was is severe traumatic brain injury that scared me. Because York hospital uses the Adam Williams protocols we have EXCELLENT results. He spent 30 days in the trauma center at York Hospital under the excellent care of Dr. Keith Clancy and his team. When he was discharged to the rehab hospital the doctors told me to expect to have him spend 2 - 3 months in rehab. Upon arrival at HealthSouth Rehab Hospital in York. He dressed himself while sitting in the wheelchair, put on his socks and shoes and tied his shoes. Brushed his hair, washed his face and bruhed his teeth. We spent 12 days at HealthSouth. He was discharged home and is doing GREAT.

On day 61 after his accident, his speech therapy evaluation revealed he needed NO cognitive therapy. He does need physical therapy for his pinkie and wrist and those are coming along great.

On day 71 after his accident, he was cleared for driving.

I truly believe that it is because of the protocols that we have no brain damage. I don't understand why every trauma center is the country isn't using the protocols. The results are AMAZING!!!!!

I have my husband back with the same personality as I did before although a lot more laid back and extremely grateful. He realizes that he owes his life to the doctors at York Hopital and the protocols used.

I work for a health insurance company and deal with doctor and nurses we have on staff and when any of them asks me how we have such great results, I tell them it is because of the Adam Williams protocols!

I can't thank you enough for getting these protocols out to the medical community. Without them I don't know where we would be right now.

I am eternally grateful and can NEVER thank you enough because of these protocols, my husband and I will be growing old together!
